My pal Jamie Parker and I get
together and play music once in a while. Every once in a great while we
actually play in front of people. We wouldn't be a real band if we
didn't have a MySpace page.
A side project of mine. Allison Nassif and Abigail
Meyers made shirts for a bowling team that they, Joe Shindelar and I
formed for one Sunday last summer for the Sound Unseen film festival's
"bands against bands" event. It was so much fun we thought we should
start a band. So far we've had one listening party and moved some
equipment into my studio. I'm not sure when practice number one is
scheduled. We are a real band, even though we don't have a MySpace
page.
Speaking of rollin' the old
rock, I bowl on Monday nights with a bunch of other designer-type wanks
in the Minneapolis Ad Bowling League.
Damn, I'm athletic. I play
softball with these guys and gals in another ad league.
My friend Sarah Nassif creates original
screenprinted apparel and accessories for women and men. Her products
combine botanically-inspired motifs and current seasonal color for a
look that easily dresses up or down.

Holy Shit! That's a lot of cheese.
Katy's appearance on Project Runway in the summer of
'06 has made her a bit of a celebrity. She is the official photographer
for The Young Wives, and plays for the Weaselhawks. Her boyfriend Joe
Shindelar has a cool website, but I can't remember the URL.
